South Peninsula Haven House is a non-profit organization. It was formerly known as South Peninsula Women’s Services, before it was incorporated in 1981. South Peninsula Haven House serves victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault by providing various services such as emergency, legal, counseling, housing, support, children’s services and community services.

Emergency Services

South Peninsula Haven House provides emergency services such as case management, crisis intervention services, danger/lethality assessment, domestic violence education, emergency cell phones, emergency local transportation, emergency shelter, safety planning, food and clothing.

Community Services

South Peninsula Haven House supports community services including domestic violence workshops.

Counselling Services

South Peninsula Haven House arranges counselling services like counseling for friends and family, counseling for batterers, non-resident counseling, peer support groups, shelter resident counseling and substance abuse counseling.

Housing Services

South Peninsula Haven House caters housing services that involves alternative housing counseling, relocation services, transportation, transitional individual housing and transitional family housing.

Support Services

South Peninsula Haven House offers support services comprising goal planning assistance, health and wellness programs, job skills training, job search/placement, medical accompaniment, onsite mental health services, parenting skills training, resources and referrals.

Children Services

South Peninsula Haven House favors children’s services taking in child care during support groups, child abuse services, child development, educational programs, safety planning for children, school liaison, teen activity program and youth counseling.


South Peninsula Haven House welcomes women, adult male that are victim of domestic violence and of sexual assault, elderly, teens, individuals nd families.
